WATCH: Vicky Pattison, Stacey Soloman and Joe Swash talk new series of I’m A Celeb
King and Queens of the Jungle Vicky Pattison, Stacey Soloman and Joe Swash have teased new details from the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today (Wednesday), former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison spoke highly of her challenging three weeks in the Australian jungle, calling the experience the “best experience of my life”.
The I’m A Celeb winner was recently announced as a host of the revamped main show’s spin-off, Extra Camp. She was joined on GMB by her co-presenters Joe Swash, Stacey Soloman and Chris Ramsey to discuss the new series, which will begin in one month’s time.
Vicky admitted: “For me, it was the best experience of my life. I think I’ve romanticised it. I think the most difficult part is missing your friends and family.”
Stacey, who won the contest in 2010, agreed with her Geordie colleague: “It was the experience of my life. I loved doing it. I feel I’ve had the time of my life ever since.”
Stacey also revealed that the hosts weren’t allowed to know the identity of the contestants until the last minute due to a previous slip-up by her boyfriend Joe Swash.
The actor explained how he told his nan about the line-up one year, and somehow the news filtered back from a small town in Norfolk to London.
He also talked about the opportunities that the ITV show has given him: “The jungle is amazing. I’d just come out of EastEnders, I didn’t think I would get any acting work. It just opened up a new world.”
A new host of celebrities will be entering the Australian wilderness next month, and there has already been much speculation as to who will be in the 2016 series. Unfortunately, we will simply have to wait to find out!
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV in November.
