WATCH: Harry Hill mocks M&S ads in new hilarious new teaser for Harry Hill’s Tea-Time
Since M&S launched their iconic ‘Adventures in Imagination’ advertising campaign two years ago, we’ve all been in a state of perpetual hunger.
It might not have had quite the same salivating effect had we seen Harry Hill’s version – ‘Adventures in Hillarity’ – first, in which the comic takes a blunt chopping knife to parody the ad.
Knives go amok, eggs are flying everywhere and toothpaste is somehow involved in the fantastic new video.
The new video is a teaser for Harry’s upcoming new spoof series Harry Hill’s Tea-Time, which starts this Sunday at 6pm. The series will entertain a different celebrity guest every week, with Sunday’s inaugural episode featuring the one and only Paul Hollywood of Bake Off and breadmaking fame.
It suggests some major cooking chaos is going to go down in the series, which seems only fitting with Harry’s cast of sometimes bizarre but always entertaining comedy characters – including Egg Wallace (no prizes for guessing the parody), Trevor Modo (Harry’s cooking assistant), and singing group The Delia Smiths (who, you guessed it, perform parodies of The Smiths’ hits).
Amongst the celebrities who will be treated to inedible concoctions and (probably) a hefty cleaning bill, are Emilia Fox, Gok Wan, Deborah Meaden, Martin Kemp, Sunetra Sarker, Jason Donovan and Joey Essex.
