Sky’s J.J. Abrams-produced Westworld gets new extended trailer
Sky Atlantic’s highly anticipated (and highly advertised) sci-fi thriller Westworld has a new extended trailer. And inevitably it comes with an age warning.
“You’re one of them, aren’t you? You aren’t real”, says a child to Evan Rachel Wood’s Dolores, preparing the scene for the show’s creepy setting of a futuristic theme park where guests can live without limits.
Also starring James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, and Sir Anthony Hopkins, the series is a reimagining of the 1973 film of the same name, and it said to be “a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin”.
“No choice you ever made was your own. You have always been a prisoner. Now what if I told you I’m here to set you free?”, we hear Harris’s character ‘The Man in Black’ tell Dolores, as she begins to discover that her entire idyllic existence is an elaborately constructed lie.
From JJ. Abrams (Star Trek, Star Wars), Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, The Dark Knight) and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice), we expect Westworld to live up to the hype when it premieres this October on Sky Atlantic.
