Made In Chelsea’s Binky reveals her first reaction to pregnancy: “Honestly? It was s**t!”
Made In Chelsea‘s Binky Felstead has admitted that she “burst into tears” upon first finding out she was pregnant.
The MIC star announced her pregnancy this weekend, revealing that she is carrying co-star Josh ‘JP’ Patterson’s child.
The two reality television personalities might now be excited about their new journey into parenthood, but it wasn’t all so optimistic when Binky first found out the news.
Talking to Hello Magazine, Binky revealed her initial reaction was rather negative. She said: “My first reaction when I saw [the positive pregnancy test], honestly? It was s**t.
“My heart stopped. I burst into tears.
“Josh and I weren’t talking at the time and I was really overwhelmed.”
Both Binky and JP have admitted that they are not technically together at the moment, but will be taking things slow for the time being.
JP explained: “Where we’re both being very mature is with the fact that you should never get back together just because there’s a baby in the picture.
“It has to be for the right reasons.
“We love each other a great deal and there’s no pressure – but you do have to take the past into consideration, where there have been a few hiccups. We’re just taking it very easy.”
Binky added neither of them are seeing anyone else, and even though they still go on dates and “hang out” it would be “silly” to rush back into a relationship.
However, the pair seem to have no regrets.
JP said: “Binky is kind and caring and has all the qualities of a good mum.
“She’s honestly going to be amazing – there’s not a doubt in my mind.”
Binky added: “I’ve been very lucky. If I were to get pregnant by anyone, he’s not a bad one. Not only is he good looking, he’s a good listener, very calm and very loving.”
Made In Chelsea will return this year to E4.
