Kem Cetinay’s mum accuses Love Island girlfriend Amber Davies of “playing games” in the villa
Kem Cetinay’s mum has given her opinion on her son’s Love Island romance with Amber Davies…and something tells us she’s not a massive fan of her potential new daughter-in-law.
Kem and Amber’s relationship has been far from smooth sailing the past few weeks, having called it off and then back on again god knows how many times during the course of the show.
Last week, the ultimate strain was put on the couple’s romance when the boys were separated into another villa with a bunch of new female contestants, and it didn’t take Kem long to make a beeline for the silver-haired Chyna Ellis.
Kem soon realised he could not shake off his feelings for Amber that easily, however, and the pair have now rekindled their relationship with one another.
But Amber isn’t in the clear just yet, as she has to win the approval of a sceptical Mother Cetinay first.
Speaking to new! magazine, Figen confessed her concerns over Amber’s intentions with her son.
“It’s hard to watch as I don’t like to see Kem upset,” she said. “He’s a very sensitive boy and although he hasn’t always been happy with Amber, he won’t want to see her upset.”
She continued: “I worry she’s playing a game with Kem and being immature. I think she’s fishing to see what else is out there.”
However, Figen did insist she would support Kem’s decision no matter what. She explained: “If he made the decision to stay with Amber then I would support him no matter what my views are.”
Love Island continues tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm on ITV2.
