Ellen comes to the UK! When can we watch?
Last October, Ellen DeGeneres launched a social media campaign using the hashtag #GetElleyOnTheTelly in an attempt to bring The Ellen Degeneres Show to the UK. It was following the appearance of Tom Bleasby (that bloke who quit The X Factor this year) who acted as a spokesperson for all of us when he said that he hated that he could only watch her show on YouTube.
The show was originally broadcast on Really in the UK but was mysteriously cancelled after season 10. Thankfully, thousands of people got behind the campaign including famous faces like Jessie J, James Corden, Sherlock Holmes, Queen Elizabeth II and Harry Potter (ok, some of those might be impersonators).
To the delight of millions, it was announced on Twitter last night that the show will be broadcast on ITV 2.

The Ellen Show will be airing on Monday 18th January at 1:45pm on ITV2.
This means we haven’t got long at all to wait for more gems like this one: seeing presidential candidate Hillary Clinton attempting to act out the “photobomb”.
This news also follows the announcement that The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been renewed until 2020 meaning we have a four more years of the blonde bombshell guaranteed.
We can’t wait to welcome Ellen into our homes, it’s about time.
