Check out I’m A Celebrity’s most terrifying bushtucker trials to date
The 2016 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here contestants might be facing the show’s toughest challenges to date.
The Sun has acquired new aerial images of the show’s filming locations, which reveal terrifying new set ups for the contestants in the depths of the rainforest in New South Wales, where the show is filmed.
The first of the pictures features a giant metal structure, which is believed to be being used for celebrities to climb and bungee jump from the top. From the structure, there is also a zip wire across a body of water. Let’s hope none of this year’s celebrities are afraid of heights…
Elsewhere in the filming area, a huge pool has been erected and fitted with cages. This looks like the sort of challenge where celebrities will be trapped inside cages with all manner of scary critters – except now, they’re underwater too.
Similar to last year, there are also images of dishevelled huts that are likely to become the homes of both contestants and a wide array of Australia’s most terrifying critters at some point.
An Ancient Greek-style amphitheatre and a spinning wheel will also play a role in some of the contestants’ tasks, but it is unclear how – apart from that it will likely be terrifying and gruesome, because come on.
In October, the Daily Star revealed that this year’s eating challenges will step up a notch from last year, including a crocodile’s vagina.
A source told the tabloid: “In the past, celebrities have had mealworms, witchetty grubs, fermented eggs and fish eyes to eat. They’re a picnic compared to this delicacy. A crocodile’s vagina is something else. Ant and Dec will giggle about it but they don’t have to eat it.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here starts Sunday, November 13 at 9pm on ITV.
