Is Celebrity Big Brother bullying Coleen Nolan?
The Loose Women panel have accused Celebrity Big Brother of “bullying” the housemates in this year’s series.
Last night’s instalment of CBB saw celebrity contestant Coleen break down in tears after she was voted the least trustworthy by the public, alongside Jasmine Waltz and Speidi.
Sitting in the smoking area with James Jordan and Brandon Block, Coleen revealed her distress over the results from the task.
She weeped: “That’s got me.
“The most fake, it’s the worst thing, cos I’m so not.”
The two housemates attempted to comfort Coleen by giving her hugs as the Nolan Sister broke down in tears.
On ITV’s Loose Women today (Wednesday), the panel fiercely defended their friend Coleen and accused Big Brother of pushing housemates too far.
Kaye Adams said: “It breaks my heart.
“This is not Celebrity Big Brother, this is Celebrity Big Bully. It’s designed to make people unravel.”
She continued: “Everything they do – poke people, test people, and make people break down – it’s very systematic. We’re all sitting there watching, seeing a friend pushed to the edge.”
Ruth Langsford echoed Kaye’s sentiment, agreeing: “It’s bullying. It’s bullying.”
She added: “It’s not just Big Brother. Other people are playing a game. Speidi, for example, know what they’re doing. It’s the nature of the game.”
Meanwhile, Jane Moore revealed her concern for Coleen on the series. She worried: “She is vulnerable at the minute – it was the older show before, it was more relaxing. It’s not like that anymore, it is high octane.”
Ruth added: “I hope she has someone to talk to and confide in the house.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly at 9pm on Channel 5.
