Britain’s Got Talent’s Diversity are getting their own ITV special: Diversity Steal The Show
Britain’s favourite dance crew Diversity are returning to ITV with their very own special: Diversity Steal The Show.
The Britain’s Got Talent winners will be making a fresh appearance on our television screens soon in a new primetime special on ITV. The dance crew will be teaming up with celebrities for some exciting collaborations as well as incorporating some of their own studio surprises, including a few cheeky pranks.
The show will end with a finale featuring “the most entertaining amateur dancers” in which one dancer will be rewarded with a prize.
The lead-man of Diversity Ashley Banjo will be choreographing all of the routines on the show, and revealed how excited he was in a recent statement: “We can’t wait to start working with ITV on this show.”
He added: “Not only do we get to create breathtaking performances and collaborations, but we also get to pull pranks, have fun and show that you don’t have to be a professional dancer to ‘Steal The Show’.”
Siobhan Greene, ITV’s Head of Entertainment, also spoke about the new dance and entertainment show: “Diversity are national treasures and it feels so good to bottle their talent by putting their infectious energy and spirit on the screen.”
She continued: “With their help they will in turn give ITV viewers the opportunity to have the moment of a life time.”
Emma Hardy, Princess Productions Managing Director, said: “Ashley and Diversity are world class talent and we’re so excited to be working with them again. The UK is full of entertaining and inspiring dancers and one of them is going to be lucky enough to go home with a brilliant prize.”
If their past success is anything to go by, Diversity’s new special should be a triumph. Since winning BGT in 2009, the dance crew have gone on to do several tours, release two DVDs and feature in the popular film Streetdance 3D. Additionally, Ashley was a judge on Sky1’s Got To Dance, while Perri Kiely won Splash! in it’s second series. And now they have their own show…what a busy bunch!
