Brazilian artist makes replica TV sets entirely out of paper
Looking for inspiration this January? Seeking creative ways to recycle your old TVGuide.co.uk magazine? We’re absolutely loving these miniature replicas of our favourite TV and movie sets, created entirely out of paper and glue, and then hand-painted, by Brazilian artist Bruna Salvador Conforto.
Not even the tiniest of details has been overlooked in the mini dioramas, which intricately recreate such settings as Monica’s apartment in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, and Harry Potter‘s Diagon Alley.
“I use tweezers, a precision knife, paper glue and paint to make all my models”, said the 25-year-old artist of her painstaking process.
“Now I can make a model in two weeks, but Monica’s apartment took almost two years to be done. I was working and studying at the time, so I had only one day a week to do, and this was the first model that I did, so I had to try different techniques to get what I wanted,” she explained.
Judging from these pictures, we’d say the long hours have definitely paid off!
